Robert Fripp acoustic
[edit]Didn't Robert Fripp play an acoustic guitar on the acoustic version of "Eyes wide open" on the "Happy to be happy with" EP? —Preceding unsigned comment added by 121.219.101.183 (talk) 06:06, 25 July 2010 (UTC)
Notoriety, Sid Smith's book as a source, 2017 tour
[edit]Sid Smith's book has more context on the evolution and recording of this song- it's not at hand at the moment but I can look into it. It is also now notable as yet another pre-1975 piece that was never played live until the current incarnation of the band. The 2017 tour was its live debut. I'm a little vague on the notoriety thresholds but this might help decide one way or the other. — Preceding unsigned comment added by Ixat totep (talk • contribs) 19:07, 19 June 2017 (UTC)
Copyvio content
[edit]The exact sentence The song began as part of an extended instrumental improvisatory piece performed by the original 1972-74 line-up with Jamie Muir and David Cross.
is from this copyrighted songfacts article. It was introduced at this revision. Rosguilltalk 04:32, 7 September 2018 (UTC)
- @Rosguill: The revision of our article that introduced that paragraph appeared on September 4, 2007. The earliest evidence I can find for Songfacts containing that is June 19, 2008, almost a year later. I believe Songfacts copied it from us. Do you have reason to believe Songfacts was there first? ~ ONUnicorn(Talk|Contribs)problem solving 20:37, 8 September 2018 (UTC)
- Hm, I thought I had checked the dates but it appears you're correct. Sorry for the trouble. Rosguilltalk 01:27, 9 September 2018 (UTC)
