Unencyclopedic topic?
[edit]How can this be a question if there is already articles like Faith in Christianity, and Faith in Buddhism let along a large section of the faith page itself?--Smkolins 00:42, 23 October 2006 (UTC)
- As the page was written, it was unencyclopedic, but written as an essay. As it stands now, with all those paragraphs commented out, it's better, but still not great. I'll remove the tag, but if the paragraphs come out without an extensive change in focus, I'll put the tag back up. -- Jeff3000 01:02, 23 October 2006 (UTC)
section of ways of knowing
[edit]"These five of the six sections below need a complete rewrite- they should be about how the Baha'i Faith believes they lead to faith, not a description of each."
- Why? The overall system is one going towards understanding and each way of knowing reveals some of all of the truth for oneself. This is what is described. And it is pointed out in the six section that simply having that spirit of faith is not to be alone in the ways of knowing, that each way of knowing has it's place as described.--Smkolins 01:12, 23 October 2006 (UTC)
- Because Wikipedia is not a collection of essays, but an encyclopedia. -- Jeff3000 01:24, 23 October 2006 (UTC)
