Page name
[edit]Shouldn't this page be called Fairouz Ai? Her other name listed shows her last name, Kadota, and Japanese names only puts the last name first, not the middle name. I assume the switch-around happened because someone misunderstood a Japanese site just putting down her name and thought Fairouz was a last name and no one corrected it. It should be Fairouz Ai, not Ai Fairouz. Her full name is Fairouz Ai Kadota, stage name is Fairouz Ai (like first name-second name basis). In The Inherited Soul event, her English spelling name was Fairouz Ai. Even the JoJo Anime Twitter account spells it that way.[1] Someone needs to change the name or else everyone's going to continue making a mistake. 176.205.33.180 (talk) 06:13, 8 April 2021 (UTC)
Yes. Her talent agency profile also lists her romanized name as "Fairouz Ai", while reversing the name order for other talent. Different Creation (talk) 16:51, 9 April 2021 (UTC)
Does she practice the religion of Islam?
[edit]She hasn't declared anything on the video. As you can see, I cannot dictate Arabic. But as a native Japanese speaker, I can say that she doesn't say that she practices the religion of Islam. She just shows the Arabic greeting in the Muslim way. But if I learned Arabic, very possible that I would greet in such a way without any intention to convert to Islam. Her speech is too light about Islam. At the most, you can say just that she was born and raised as a Muslima. For example, she drinks alcohol. But even that part, the fact that she uses Kadota, her Japanese surname makes suspicious. Labeling her practicing the religion of Islam is as bad as an anti-Japanese racistic word that we, Japanese people don't have right to keep our culture. - There is no proof that she is Muslim, not all Egyptians are Muslims. SpinnerLaserzthe2nd (talk) 01:42, 25 May 2021 (UTC)
- You are right. The most of Egyptians are Muslims but there are Coptic Christians, too. And in addition, Fairouz, the Lebanese singer that Fairouz Ai's parents named after is a Christian, too. Emmanuel Chanel (talk) 15:12, 25 May 2021 (UTC)
