Note about projects
[edit]Since WikiProject Louisville is a grandchild project of WikiProject Cities, placing this article under WikiProject Cities is unnecessary. However, it won't hurt anything to leave both projects listed, so I won't change it back. — Stevie is the man! Talk • Work 20:29, 29 July 2006 (UTC)
- Please tell me why it's unneccessary? First, it falls under the criteria of the project (in which I'm helping by contributing to mostly city, town, unincorporated place, and neighborhood articles) and two, it's just a talk page. I think it's fine as it is. --Moreau36 20:39, 29 July 2006 (UTC)
- As I said, I'm not taking it off. But it's unnecessary because WikiProject Louisville is covering the same things in the Louisville metro area. Double coverage is what is unnecessary. — Stevie is the man! Talk • Work 20:43, 29 July 2006 (UTC)
- I didn't say that you was going to delete it. As I explained earlier, as long as it meets the criteria, the it's not unnecessary. Sure, it's part of the Louisville project, but the "cities project" should be mentioned as well. That's what I'm attempting to say. --Moreau36 20:56, 29 July 2006 (UTC)
- If a project is a child of another, it takes over the subjects of the parent that apply more specifically to the child. This is a matter of logic. And WikiProject Cities was unmistakably devised to spawn off child projects for individual cities. If you disagree, fine, but that's my position. — Stevie is the man!
