Since this company was never known as simply Fairchild I suggest moving, and letting the disambig take the Fairchild spot. But since it has changed names a few times, I figured I'd request some input. FrozenPurpleCube19:59, 25 November 2006 (UTC)[reply]
You are right, Fairchild doesn't really work- what about Fairchild (aircraft manufacturer) as a more accurate title/description.

Disagree. It's a good idea to have the aircarf manufacturing side separate from the parent companies. Pratt & Whittney and Sikorsky are separate from United Technologies, and Bell Helicopter and Cessna are separate from Textron. However, Fairchild Corporation and Fairchild Industries are both short stubs, and could probably be better off together. - BillCJ05:45, 31 August 2007 (UTC)[reply]
Keep separate. The Fairchild Industries article can and should be expanded on its own. This article is OK by itself. The Fairchild Aircraft Ltd. Canada article might could merged to here. I'm sure some more details could be added here as well. -Fnlayson12:36, 31 August 2007 (UTC)[reply]
