Previous incident

[edit]

Just question... Was Fadel Shana also involved in an alleged Israeli airstrike on an ambulance in 2006? Im talking about this column I found while googling his name after news mention of his death. http://hotair.com/archives/2006/09/04/fauxtography-ambulance-chasers/ http://www.bizzyblog.com/2006/09/03/steyn-exposes-more-middle-east-fauxtography-plus-is-the-bbc-further-slanting-non-english-news/

Im just wondering if he was. I only vaguely remember this being mentioned in the news more than a year ago, so I want a second opinion.76.10.171.165 (talk) 21:46, 20 April 2008 (UTC)[reply]

I know that Shan'a had been wounded by Israeli fire some time ago. I don't know if it was in this particular incident or another. <eleland/talkedits> 22:48, 20 April 2008 (UTC)[reply]

Yes. Fadel survived a previous shelling from Israeli Troops in Gaza

This is documented in Al Jazeera's recent documentary "Killing the Messenger". —Preceding unsigned comment added by 41.208.236.27 (talk) 11:20, 15 June 2008 (UTC)[reply]

Merge?

[edit]

It does not appear that Shana'a is notable for anything other than being killed in this incident (which is what most of the article covers) - does it make sense to merge this with Al Bureij incident, which is a 3-sentence article about the incident, using the same sources as this artilce? Izzy Borden (talk) 23:50, 19 June 2022 (UTC)[reply]

If #Previous incident is correct would oppose a merge, would need to find sources on the survival of a prior strike. nableezy - 17:15, 29 June 2022 (UTC)[reply]
