Assess for Schools

Classed as low importance as we need referenced claims to fame ... article needs expansion. Welcome Victuallers 19:45, 29 April 2007 (UTC)[reply]

Australian National Academy of Music

[edit]

Where does the Australian National Academy of Music[1] fit with the Victorian College of the Arts & within the University of Melbourne? The ANAM is notable as one of 8 members of the "Australian Roundtable for Arts Training Excellence". (See Department of Communications, Information Technology and the Arts - Arts training bodies). Can someone please clarify, possible create an article, put something here or in the UoM article. Thanks Paul foord 12:46, 19 June 2007 (UTC)[reply]

Spilt articles for Secondary School

[edit]

The VCA is now "The University of Melbourne Faculty of the VCA and Music". The Secondary School, while retaining some ties, is a State Govt. School & is moving to its own site in June 2009. I think they should have separate articles.--Design (talk) 07:01, 27 February 2009 (UTC)[reply]

Actually, the VCA amalgamated with the former Faculty of Music at the University of Melbourne to form a combined entity, the Faculty of the VCA and Music. This article under the current header is quite misleading, as it implies that the former VCA has simply been renamed.

Alumni

[edit]

i gave this section a major clean up as some names linked to persons that were not vca graduates whatsoever, while most were merely redlinks to pages that are unlikely to ever be made. wikipedia is not a promotional tool for graduate students. Deans

[edit]

This article would benefit from adding names of Deans and other significant staff, i.e. Lenton Parr, Brian Brown, Tony Gould, Lindy Davies, Anne Woolliams, etc.--Design (talk) 02:26, 4 June 2010 (UTC)[reply]
