[edit]Category: It's accepted that Scottish professional body is a subset of British professional body. However there's a strong argument that Scottish professional bodies should also be included in the British list. Not least because it allows people to see clearly which professions have separate structures for Scotland (or Northern Ireland), and which ones are UK-wide. Psnae 20:31, 2 July 2006 (UTC)
As of 1 August 2010, the Faculty of Actuaries ceased to exist and merged with the Institute of Actuaries to form the Institute and Faculty of Actuaries.
