[edit]I am italian and I have searched a safe confirm on the italian texts .. without success. Anyway, there is certain evidence that the song appeared before the start of the war and therefore the statement that "was inspired by a beautiful girl ... at the start ..." should be commented as a fake new. On the contrary, it seems that the song inspired a ballet where a young women is found and freed.
