If an article is notable on one of the Wikipedia language sites, does that make it automatically notable on all? Sometimes it seems like some people are notable in their home country and have a lot of sources in that language but no other countries have sources on them or see them as notable. No, it doesn't make it automatically notable. Each Wiki specifies its own set of policies and guidelines to define inclusion criteria, and not all have the concepts of verifiability and notability that we have. Neither do a huge number of published books make an author automatically notable – anybody can publish a book. I tried to find sources that would suggest that the article person really is notable but found none that seemed convincing. If you think the article should be deleted or its notability should be discussed, you could tag the article for deletion. Nageh (talk) 12:45, 4 February 2012 (UTC)[reply]
