Team as singular or plural?
[edit]The history section of horribly confused as to whether the team is regarded as a singular or plural entity. Inconsistency of ENGVAR even occurs with a sentence: "Following World War II, FV was part of lower tier competition until advancing in 1951 to the Amateurliga Nordbaden (III) where they played only a single season before being sent down on goal difference" or successive sentences "Weinheim struggled somewhat on its return until capturing the Amateur-Oberliga title in 1988. However, they failed again in their subsequent attempt to win promotion to the 2nd Bundesliga."
As this is essentially an ENGVAR issue, I guess it is up to the first substantial contributor to make the call. Kevin McE (talk) 17:55, 7 October 2011 (UTC)
