Fair use rationale for Image:FK Shkendija 79.gif
[edit]Image:FK Shkendija 79.gif is being used on this article. I notice the image page specifies that the image is being used under fair use but there is no explanation or rationale as to why its use in this Wikipedia article constitutes fair use. In addition to the boilerplate fair use template, you must also write out on the image description page a specific explanation or rationale for why using this image in each article is consistent with fair use.
Please go to the image description page and edit it to include a fair use rationale. Using one of the templates at Wikipedia:Fair use rationale guideline is an easy way to ensure that your image is in compliance with Wikipedia policy, but remember that you must complete the template. Do not simply insert a blank template on an image page.
If there is other fair use media, consider checking that you have specified the fair use rationale on the other images used on this page. Note that any fair use images lacking such an explanation can be deleted one week after being tagged, as described on criteria for speedy deletion. If you have any questions please ask them at the Media copyright questions page. Thank you.

Per UEFA source
[edit]The title should be FK Shkëndija 79 [1], therefore Local hero's move is incorrect and should be reverted. Furthermore, there are 900,000 googlehits with Shkëndija, 9 times as much as the current title.Llengari (talk) 03:15, 26 September 2011 (UTC)
- I only moved it back because it was moved without any reasons given. Also, it was changed to KF while your link says it's FK. Your explanation is good enough for me, so I moved it to FK Shkëndija 79. --Local hero talk 19:14, 26 September 2011 (UTC)

FK Shkëndija → KF ShkëndijaRelisted. Cloudz679 16:29, 23 November 2011 (UTC) – The official name of the club as can be seen in the club crest on its Wikipedia entry is KF Shkëndija, hence that should be the name on the wikipedia article for the club. Keli2006 (talk) 11:48, 14 November 2011 (UTC)
- Oppose for now - where exactly is this the case? Arbitrarily0 (talk) 20:19, 21 November 2011 (UTC)

- Oppose The English-lang refs at the article refer to Shkendija Tetovo/Shkendija, FK Skendija and FK Skendija 79, so no evidence the proposed move is appropriate. Eldumpo (talk) 19:11, 25 December 2013 (UTC)

The result of the move request was: Moved. Per the table at [the UEFA club page] it seems to me that the Macedonian football league writes this club's name with the diaeresis over the 'e' and uses the 'KF', at least when written out in Latin script. At first glance this club seems to have an Albanian name, though it is based at Tetovo in Macedonia and competes in that country's league. I think there is no diaeresis [when the club's name is written in Cyrllic.] EdJohnston (talk) 16:10, 9 November 2016 (UTC)

Club name
[edit]The Club may call themselves KF Shkëndija, but officially in the Macedonian Football Federation they are registered as ФК Шкендија (FK Shkendija) so it is pointless to argue how they should be named as at the end of the day this is how the club is officially registered in FFM. Also, it should actually be an "e" instead of "ë".
