Requested move 22 July 2019
[edit]- The following is a closed discussion of a requested move. Please do not modify it. Subsequent comments should be made in a new section on the talk page. Moved. See a two-week old, non-relisted discussion below and general agreement to rename the article. See some disagreement between two trusted editors as to the category page-move requests, and I would rather not get between that <duck>. So pinging BrownHairedGirl and bd2412 to find out if it's okay to boldly rename the cats. I use Cat-a-lot, so it wouldn't take me long. Please use the new section below to respond. Kudos to editors for your input, and Happy Publishing! (nac by page mover) Paine Ellsworth, ed. put'r there 19:35, 7 August 2019 (UTC)
It was proposed in this section that FK Rīgas Futbola Skola be renamed and moved to FK RFS.
The discussion has been closed, and the result will be found in the closer's comment. Links: current log • target log |
FK Rīgas Futbola Skola → FK RFS – The club refers to themselves as FK RFS (see here) as well as other major sources (UEFA, Eurosport, etc.). The article was previously titled as such but it was changed without a requested move. — Preceding unsigned comment added by 2603:9000:6e0e:7ffd:fd7d:d5ec:a62f:1b12 (talk) 22:44, 22 July 2019 (UTC)

- @BrownHairedGirl: would you mind looking at this. I always get nervous with category moves. TonyBallioni (talk) 03:59, 2 August 2019 (UTC)
- Thanks, @TonyBallioni.
- Category moves should be proposed at WP:CFD. Or, if they meet the speedy criteria at WP:CFDS.
- In this instance, if the head article is moved at a reaming discussion, then the categories may be proposed for speedy renaming to match per WP:C2D.
- It looks like this discussion is heading for a close as rename the article. The cats should not be renamed as part of the RM close, but shoukd be listed at CFDS. If the closer pings me, I'd be happy to do the CFDS listing. --BrownHairedGirl (talk) • (contribs) 06:42, 2 August 2019 (UTC)
- Support per nom, and go ahead and rename the categories as well. bd2412 T 04:18, 7 August 2019 (UTC)
- The above discussion is preserved as an archive of a requested move. Please do not modify it. Subsequent comments should be made in a new section on this talk page or in a move review. No further edits should be made to this section.
