Since I have my own football club nomination, I shall review this one. QatarStarsLeague (talk) 14:17, 14 May 2013 (UTC)
Lead
[edit]I apologize for the belated start, I am actually busy with my own nomination. The lead looks great!
Infobox
[edit]Excellent.
History
[edit]Within the quote box, you might want to link "partisans" with Yugoslav Partisans. Like so: partisans.
- Fixed.
"...the club adopted the black and white colors." The current black and white colors.
- Actually, per WP:REALTIME we should avoid the term "current".
"...whom Partizan began to rival begininning in the 1960s." To me, this implies that Red Star was an established club prior to Partizan, so maybe you could alter so that it reads "...whom Partizan developed a rivalry with in the 1960s."?
"The 1965–66 European Cup campaign was the crown of this generation's achievements." I will need a reference for this.
The rest is fine. I will continue when the above changes are addressed.
- Hi there and thank you for reviewing this article! :) Cause of WP:REALTIME i changed a sentence a little:"After 13 years of playing in blue-red kits, the club adopted black and white colors in 1958." Also, i put a reference for "The 1965–66 European Cup campaign was the crown of this generation..." as you stated above. (Nightwolf87 (talk) 07:10, 21 May 2013 (UTC))
Crest and colours
[edit]"...(Serbs, Croats, Slovenes, Macedonians and Montenegrins; Muslims weren't considered a constituent nation at the time)." When you mention Muslims in Yugoslavia, are you referring to Kosovans, Bosniaks, other ethnic Albanians? Something else entirely? Please clarify for the reader.
"Yugoslavia ceased to exist in 1992..." Before this, you should probably mention how the crest (putatively) remained the same 1963-1992.
The rest of this section is fine.
- I removed Muslims from the sentence so reader can better understand which nations emblem only presents. I put that the crest remained unchanged until the breakup of Yugoslavia. From 1963 until 1992 nothing happened to the crest so its remained the same. (Nightwolf87 (talk) 15:05, 23 May 2013 (UTC))
Stadium and training ground
[edit]"...currently the second largest stadium in Serbia." Behind which grounds?
- Done! (Nightwolf87 (talk) 15:08, 23 May 2013 (UTC))
"The club's stadium..." Given the context, you could simply start the paragraph with "The stadium..." instead.
- Done! (Nightwolf87 (talk) 15:08, 23 May 2013 (UTC))
"Also, it was the host of the 1962 European Athletics Championships, a place for various concerts and it hosted many times the Yugoslav Cup and Serbian Cup final." If you are not going to be utilizing the serial comma here (I myself do), please be certain that it is not used elsewhere in the article.
- I didn't change nothing here but maybe I will split this sentence into 2 or more. (Nightwolf87 (talk) 15:08, 23 May 2013 (UTC))
The rest is fine.
Partizan youth school and affiliates
[edit]"...called Omladinska..." How about "...in Serbian, Omladinska...'" instead?
- Done!(Nightwolf87 (talk) 15:12, 23 May 2013 (UTC))
"...reached..." reach, instead.
- Done!(Nightwolf87 (talk) 15:12, 23 May 2013 (UTC))
"Best European Youth work" Capital W.
- Done!(Nightwolf87 (talk) 15:12, 23 May 2013 (UTC))
"...the club's youth school has been declared the second-best in Europe after that of Ajax Amsterdam." Speaking as a football fan, I must say these two clubs, along with a few others (FC Basel comes to mind) have had wild successes with their youth development programs/programmes.
- Did you think I should rewrite this or to find another reference? (Nightwolf87 (talk) 15:12, 23 May 2013 (UTC))
- No, that was simply football banter! QatarStarsLeague (talk) 16:39, 23 May 2013 (UTC)
The rest of this section is fine. When the above issues are mitigated, I shall move forth.
Support and rivalry
[edit]Before I begin a comprehensive review of these sections, I propose a name alteration. I feel that this section should be bifurcated, and that the new sections be known as "Supporters" and "Rivalries". This is not required, it is simply a suggestion conducive to article clarity. QatarStarsLeague (talk) 16:38, 22 May 2013 (UTC)
- I accepted a suggestion so I split up and renamed those sections. (Nightwolf87 (talk) 15:13, 23 May 2013 (UTC))
Supporters
[edit]"...is the second most popular football club in Serbia..." Behind...?
"(Republika Srpska)" Please wikilink this.
Please wikilink CSKA Moscow.
- Done! (Nightwolf87 (talk) 18:24, 3 June 2013 (UTC))

Club officials
[edit]Fine.
Ownership and finances
[edit]Fine here.
Honours and achievements
[edit]Fine here as well.
