Talk:FBI Buffalo Field Office/GA1

GA Review
[edit]Quick-failing on two counts:
- The notability of the article is questionable per Wikipedia:Notability_(organizations_and_companies)#Non-commercial_organizations: "Individual chapters of national and international organizations are usually not notable enough to warrant a separate article unless sufficient notability is established through reliable sources. However, chapter information may be included in list articles as long as only verifiable information is included."
- note: this is not explicitly a WP:WIAGA criterion, but it cannot meet GA requirements if it does not meet notability requirements.
- The article is written entirely using sources published by the topic of the article, see WP:SELFPUB, specificially criteria #7: "Self-published and questionable sources may only be used as sources about themselves, and only if: ... 7. the article is not based primarily on such sources. "
The article could be generalized to be about FBI field offices in general and use Buffalo as an example, but it would still require external sources. It is not, in my opinion, ready to be reviewed as a GA at this time. SDY (talk) 20:40, 18 July 2008 (UTC)
