Relation of femoral artery with head of femur
[edit]Femoral artery has close relation to the head of femur in PA view. The common femoral artery lies on the head of femur .This relation is clinically very useful during puncture of common femoral artery in transfemoral angiography and angioplasty.
In the animation below femoral artery is shown far away from the head of femur. THis may be due to angulation ?
However it is important to highlight this fact that common femoral artery lies on head of femur. Thanks Regards Asadullah kundi consultant cardiologist the Indus hospital Karachi pakistan. Asadkundi (talk) 07:29, 22 August 2022 (UTC)
