Talk:Expansion of Jerusalem in the 19th century
19th-century to 19th century
[edit]Would there be any objection to moving this article to Expansion of Jerusalem in the 19th century? The hyphen is only used when 19th and century are working together as a compound adjective before a noun. Expansion of Jerusalem in the 19th-century would remain as a redirect to the new title. If there's a consensus, or at least no objection, I'll make the move in about a week. Thank you. SchreiberBike (talk) 05:48, 15 May 2013 (UTC)

Timeline
[edit]I have added a "Timeline" paragraph for obvious reasons, and specifically in order to balance the general image: there were Western Christian (Orthodox, Catholic, and Protestant), Jewish (Ashkenazi, Sephardic, etc.), and Arab (Muslim and Christian) projects, set up as philanthropic, religious, public, private, cooperative, and commercial (real estate) initiatives, most of them specifically for a certain ethnoreligious community. It is not always easy to be accurate, even when following Kark's excellent material, as a city grows organically, not like a mathematical progression. Arminden (talk) 03:30, 2 February 2021 (UTC)
