One-sided POV
[edit]Article lack in mainstream historical narrative. It gives a POV from the Serb side based on cherry-picked info and/or unreliable sources in the context of Bosnia, and Former Yugoslavia break up:
- who is Peter Brook, who put Western media under a scare quotes with addition of sarcastic "enlightened" ;
- where is the story of Serb media involvement in inciting fear and hatred among Sarajevo Srbs:
- where is the story of Serb officials and military involvement in inciting fear and hatred among Sarajevo Srbs:
- where is the story of using Serbs of Sarajevo in resettling Bosnian Muslims' ethnically cleansed areas in RS
- what happened with the siege of Sarajevo as a Background narrative - is it possible that some of those who kept 300 thousand citizens under a siege of murder and starvation for 3 and a half years had a reason to feel it is better for them to leave after inflicting so much suffering onto the city.
These are just most egregious shortcomings of this article, and I am going to place appropriate template msg at the top. ౪ Santa ౪99° 05:58, 7 September 2023 (UTC)
Further, who the hell is N. Chakravartty, whose ridiculous quote is given in references, where (s)he claims how US and German govts had applauded in secret an exodus of Serbs from Croatia - how (s)he knows that they applauded if they did it in secret (rhetorical).--౪ Santa ౪99° 06:54, 7 September 2023 (UTC)
Further:
- 6. intimidation, torching and looting must have been recorded in many other sources, so we need to know who intimidated, torched and looted these suburbs, especially since we know that 1) Serbs themselves scraped all the valuables including scraping the building material from their own houses and then demolished what remained (often with an explosives), and even dug out their dead from the graveyards; and 2) the suburbs were practically a ghost town when the Federation police entered for the first time on specific date while escorted by NATO forces.
- 7. it lacks specific information when these intimidation, torching and looting happened - before or after Federal takeover; it is contradictory to leave it without such a specific information because the suburbs were practically a ghost town when the Federation police entered for the first time on specific date and escorted by NATO,
All together a cherry-picked remark(s), espoused in wikivoice, out of context are creating a paradoxical view of these events.--౪ Santa ౪99° 20:53, 15 September 2023 (UTC)
