Note that the above DYK was removed from the main page after ca. 1 hour, because the piece was not nominated for a Pulitzer despite references to this in the press. Many people enter a work in the Pulitzers (costs $50) and then claim that it has been "nominated", while only the three finalists per category can make that claim according to the Pulitzer website.
