Exigent circumstances also apply to item searches. It is not just about entering structures. It is a limited exception to the Fourth Amendment's requirement of a warrant against unreasonable searches and seizures, and that includes person possessions, vehicles, etc. — Preceding unsigned comment added by 68.62.127.1 (talk) 01:38, 1 February 2014 (UTC)
