Merger proposal

I propose that Business executive be merged into Executive officer. I began editing the Business executive article which has multiple issues and discovered the Executive officer article. I'm proposing the merger since I think Executive officer appropriately treats the subject more broadly and is in better shape overall. A business executive is simply one kind of executive officer, right? I don't think merging the content would be too difficult since the bulk of this article could easily be condensed into one section. If you look at "loopy redirect" above I think you will see why people don't support a merger. The other article should be built up, but a merger would probably harm this article. Seraphya (talk) 09:58, 28 September 2013 (UTC)

I would agree with Seraphya on this. the business section COULD have a pointing added to CEO (Chief Executive Officer) but that's about it. perhaps corporate signing officer link as well (they exist for industry Canada but i'm not sure about else ware) as in Canadian business some may call an Executive Officer as a member of the Business Executive team with signing authority on behalf of a corporation. — Preceding unsigned comment added by Nkdavis63 (talk • contribs) 17:02, 29 November 2013 (UTC)
