Reentrancy ?
[edit]in the list of the capabilities, isn't right to insert also "reentrancy"? Reentrancy aka ability for a program (or code library) to be stopped at any point, asked to do something else, and then return to the original task. May be obvious... but for example MacOs hasn't for long time.. 87.19.41.76 (talk) 16:04, 20 June 2022 (UTC)
- I don't see any list of capabilities. Are you sure about your suggestion? 99.165.88.9 (talk) 20:55, 20 June 2022 (UTC)
- "list of capabilities"... well ,I meant the exec capabilities .. :) those listed in the entry ... "reentrancy" well i'm not an expert but i suppose may be quoted as one of kernel capability... ;) 87.19.41.76 (talk) 17:52, 22 June 2022 (UTC)
- Ok. The article can be edited by you as well so you can edit it yourself for giving it a try. 99.165.88.9 (talk) 22:54, 25 June 2022 (UTC)

ExecSG
[edit]In the court document developers of ExecSG kernel (Hans and Joerg Frieden) claim to have ownership to ExecSG source code because Hyperion Entertainment did not pay them or they received only partial payment from HE. Is there new information of this? Was source code transfered to HE or is it still owned by Friedens? Xorxos (talk) 22:11, 31 January 2015 (UTC)
- Many OS components since OS3.5 were developed by third parties and licenced to parent company (Amiga.Inc, Haage/Partner, Hyperion). That is why OS4.0 could use so many parts from 3.5/3.9 even after Amiga.Inc strife with Haage/Partner. As far as we know, ExecSG is still only licenced by Friedens to Hyperion.Pavlor (talk) 13:27, 20 November 2015 (UTC)
