[edit]Has James Fogarty done anything notable outside of Ewigkeit? If not, perhaps we should go ahead and process this merge? It's been nearly three months since the proposal and nobody's commented... Dybeck 17:33, 8 March 2006 (UTC)
Is there any chance the James Fogarty page could be deleted? It offers next to no information aside from the photograph, which could be put to more use in the Ewigkeit page. Raven_1959 14:17, 14 March 2006 (UTC)
Is Ewigkeit notable? I'm a bit out of touch, but I've not heard of them. Fogerty on the other hand is apparently a member of Blacksmoke, who got a fair bit of media coverage (almost entirely connected with Jimmy Cauty's Stamps of Mass Destruction though. I don't know how important this Fogerty guy is.) --kingboyk 15:56, 4 October 2006 (UTC)
- OK, answer my own question: Several albums on an important indie label. Gotta be notable. Let's just merge Fogerty to here for now (since it's apparently just him under an alias); whether the article is named "James Fogarty" or "Ewigkeit" can be decided upon later. --kingboyk 15:58, 4 October 2006 (UTC)
Moved
[edit]I moved the article from Ewigkeit to Ewigkeit (music project) to avoid someone wasting their time looking up the article when they want information about the German word for "eternity." I used "music project" because that is the term used in the article rather than "performer" or "musician" or "band." This should be done as a courtesy for any musician, performer, album, or song which uses the name of a person, place, thing or concept fromthe real world, unless they spell the name differently (like the Beatles) or out a "The" in front of it. Move to James Fogarty?
[edit]I think that this belong better under James Fogarty, as Ewigkeit was all him, and he seems to have been involved in several other projects. I think that a move would help so we could include information on his upcoming project, without it seeming odd that we're talking about the next band in the wikipedia page for the previous one. (Also, how do I get my signature to link to my page?) Fimbulwintr 15:23, 12 May 2007 (UTC)
