Scope of EP
[edit]Evolutionary psychology (EP) can be used in a general sense about approaches within psychology that are based on the understanding that the human mind, as the human body, is a result of evolutionary processes, and in a narrow sense about a particular research paradigm within psychology that emerged from Sociobiology in the 1990'es and developed by researchers such as David Buss, Leda Cosmides, John Tooby and Steven Pinker.[1]
