Style

[edit]

This single appears to continue in the same direction as See You On the Other Side (poppier and catchier vocals than old-school Korn), yet also includes a progressive edge with heavy guitars/chanky bass. If I'm not mistaken, it's got keyboards, too. My radio was getting static, it could've been that. Can we expect the 8th album to continue in this trend, or will it feature rougher-sounding vocals? When will it be out on iTunes...

The sound of the this song is remenescent of Untouchables, with the lyrical style of SYOTOS. I think we can expect this album to be heavier witha progressive and gothic tune.

I saw a video doc on making the song and they were using a synth, connected to the guitar i believe, during the chorus.--Zahveed 20:55, 2 July 2007 (UTC)[reply]

Drummer

[edit]

I read somewhere that Terry Bozio only did drums for some of the tracks and Jon did drums for the others. Does anyone else know anything about this?--Zahveed 20:58, 2 July 2007 (UTC)[reply]

I believe he left without mastering any of the drum tracks at all. They probably didn't use his cuts. 71.201.77.188 16:54, 18 July 2007 (UTC)[reply]

What???? Bozzio DEFINETELY played on the album!!!! ("Kiss," "I Will Protect You," "Sing Sorrow") He just didn't play on "Evolution" or "Hold On." The drummer for those songs is Brooks Wackerman of Bad Religion. Dark Executioner (talk) 20:37, 11 December 2007 (UTC)Dark Executioner[reply]

Controversy

[edit]

This section is unclear and does not provide references. Also sounds like someone arguing a point which makes it a POV issue. Could it be sourced and rewritten to explain the arguement rather than fight it? Madslocodemente (talk) 23:50, 5 December 2007 (UTC)[reply]

The Bicycling Guitarist wrote a song in 1991 called "Evolution" with a new recording in 2008. Why isn't there a disambiguation link to that song? It is the first song that comes up in Google when one looks for "evolution song" —Preceding unsigned comment added by 75.170.51.65 (talk) 19:44, 8 April 2009 (UTC)[reply]
