Fair use rationale for Image:Every which way but loose Poster.jpg
[edit]Image:Every which way but loose Poster.jpg is being used on this article. I notice the image page specifies that the image is being used under fair use but there is no explanation or rationale as to why its use in this Wikipedia article constitutes fair use. In addition to the boilerplate fair use template, you must also write out on the image description page a specific explanation or rationale for why using this image in each article is consistent with fair use. Please go to the image description page and edit it to include a fair use rationale. Using one of the templates at Wikipedia:Fair use rationale guideline is an easy way to insure that your image is in compliance with Wikipedia policy, but remember that you must complete the template. Do not simply insert a blank template on an image page. If there is other fair use media, consider checking that you have specified the fair use rationale on the other images used on this page. Note that any fair use images lacking such an explanation can be deleted one week after being tagged, as described on criteria for speedy deletion. If you have any questions please ask them at the Media copyright questions page. Thank you. BetacommandBot (talk) 21:04, 13 February 2008 (UTC)
BJ and the Bear
[edit]Shouldn't this and that link to each other? I assume they have the same format as apes, trucks and an idiot feature prominently in both. And I ask rather than do as I have never seen any of the episodes or movies, or ever will. MartinSFSA (talk) 06:14, 31 August 2009 (UTC)
Clyde's Fate?
[edit]This article says the orang was beaten to death right after shooting, but the Wiki article for the sequel says "Manis was the trained orangutan who played Clyde, Clint Eastwood's orangutan sidekick from the 1978 box office hit Every Which Way But Loose. Its 1980 sequel, Any Which Way You Can (1980), did not feature Manis, as he had grown too much between productions. " So what's that story? Clearly one of them is wrong. 70.91.35.27 (talk) 19:22, 23 August 2010 (UTC)Tim
- I deleted said factoid because there was no actual proof. Lots42 (talk) 22:15, 23 August 2010 (UTC)
Requested move 10 March 2020
[edit]- The following discussion is an archived discussion of a requested move. Please do not modify it. Subsequent comments should be made in a new section on the talk page. No further edits should be made to this section.
Moved as proposed. The disambiguation page will be quashed, and the incoming redirect deleted. BD2412 T 20:19, 18 March 2020 (UTC)
- Every Which Way but Loose (film) → Every Which Way but Loose
- Every Which Way but Loose → (deleted to make way for page move)
– The film is the clear primary topic. The only other topic is the film's title song, and the film gets 97.5% of the pageviews [1]. Nohomersryan (talk) 22:37, 10 March 2020 (UTC)
- Note: just a gentle reminder that if this request is granted, then Every Which Way but Loose (disambiguation) must also be deleted. P.I. Ellsworth ed. put'r there 07:56, 11 March 2020 (UTC)
- Support per WP:PRIMARYTOPIC. A hatnote pointing to the song is all that's needed, Station1 (talk) 02:51, 11 March 2020 (UTC)
- Support per nomination and Station1. No need for the disambiguation page per WP:ONEOTHER. —Roman Spinner (talk • contribs) 03:55, 11 March 2020 (UTC)
- Support. Indeed. Clear primary topic. -- Necrothesp (talk) 13:13, 11 March 2020 (UTC)
- Support moving the film over the current disambiguation page, with a suitable hatnote. Also delete G14 the redirect Every Which Way but Loose (disambiguation). Shhhnotsoloud (talk) 17:01, 13 March 2020 (UTC)
