Shakespeare played the part of Kno'well.

[edit]

From the article as it is now: "While this legend is unverifiable, it is all but certain, based on the playlist published in the folio, that Shakespeare played the part of Kno'well."

Note that no comedians are listed in the 1616 version, but Shakespeare and others are mentioned in the 1640 second edition. I don't know if Jonson helped with this edition before he died in 1637. (fotoguzzi)69.64.235.42 (talk) 04:09, 14 September 2010 (UTC)[reply]

Correction: The actors ARE listed in the 1616 edition (at the ends of the plays instead of the 1640s placement at the beginnings). Sorry! (fotoguzzi)69.64.235.42 (talk) 09:11, 14 September 2010 (UTC)[reply]

Country gull

[edit]

Hi! What do you mean with the word gull in this article? "A country gull"? Not for sure a seagull. Suggestions? -- Basilicofresco (msg) 16:12, 6 December 2021 (UTC)[reply]
