Citation concerning Marc Bolan
[edit]Not sure how to add it in at this point or the proper format, but here's a citation for the song having to do with Marc Bolan:
Stokes, Niall Into the Heart: The Story Behind Every U2 Song. New York: Thundermouth Press (1997).
Here's the quote (pp.96-97) "By the time it came to finishing 'Even Better than the Real Thing', the band (U2) had rediscovered their sense of fun, tarting it up a la Marc Bolan in a tribute to the kind of glam rock that was on Top of the Pops when they were hitting their own teens."
The particular article on this particular song, where the above quote comes from, also features a picture of Marc Bolan with the caption "Marc Bolan: the real thing."
If I get more comfortable, I'll add the citation. But if someone else wants to put it in using this info, be my guest.John ISEM 07:52, 15 April 2007 (UTC)

Fair use rationale for Image:Ebttrt.jpg
[edit]Image:Ebttrt.jpg is being used on this article. I notice the image page specifies that the image is being used under fair use but there is no explanation or rationale as to why its use in Wikipedia articles constitutes fair use. In addition to the boilerplate fair use template, you must also write out on the image description page a specific explanation or rationale for why using this image in each article is consistent with fair use.
Please go to the image description page and edit it to include a fair use rationale. Using one of the templates at Wikipedia:Fair use rationale guideline is an easy way to insure that your image is in compliance with Wikipedia policy, but remember that you must complete the template. Do not simply insert a blank template on an image page.
If there is other other fair use media, consider checking that you have specified the fair use rationale on the other images used on this page. Note that any fair use images uploaded after 4 May, 2006, and lacking such an explanation will be deleted one week after they have been uploaded, as described on criteria for speedy deletion. If you have any questions please ask them at the Media copyright questions page. Thank you.BetacommandBot 02:42, 3 June 2007 (UTC)

Incorrect video attribution of the Rollover Rig
[edit]Hi all,
This will need to be amended in the entry. This is not the rig used to achieve the effect, the camera moves around the subject, the subject does not move -- you can clearly see this in the U2 video.
On the Best Of 90s DVD Godley explains the effect as very simply a camera on a stick which passed through the hole in the ground (which is the black stipe under their feet you can see whenever the camera passes over their heads.)
"Shot in January 1992 by Kevin Godley in London and promptly dubbed "the wheel thing" by the crew after Godley came up with an innovative trick, camera lens twirling on a stick, "to capture the momentum of the track..."
Thanks!
