I have a copy of a book by E Everett Green entitled "The House on the Cliff' published by Ward, Lock and Co., Limited, London and Melbourne - printed in Great Britain by L(?) T, A Robinson Limited, the Botolph Publishing Works, London. The front page mentions that E Everett-Green is the author of 'Inchfallen', 'Dickie and Dorrie', 'Bruno and Bimba', etc. The book was presented to my mother as a Sunday School prize in 1938. A same-sex relationship outlined in a children’s book published by the Society for the Propagation of Christian Knowledge in 1882? whoever wrote this has either not read the book (I have) or has no understanding of late Victorian society and norms! — Preceding unsigned comment added by 82.71.49.174 (talk) 18:43, 3 February 2023 (UTC)[reply]
