Hey @MidwestCuttlefish:, thanks for addressing the CN tags on the prizes. I'm wondering though, by chance do you have any independent verification? Typically program bios (like for TEDx) are written by participants themselves and BLP policy warns against using self-published sources on anything self-serving. I'm not saying the material needs to be deleted but it'd be great if we could bolster with stronger sources. I'll have a look and see what I can come up with as well. Ah--I was able to find sources on three of four. So it'd just be the last one! But also if we can't find better sourcing on it, it might be worth deleting; we do have RS indicating she won a full ride to college so we could just put that in the body of the entry. Hey @Innisfree987:, I don't have other sources on her awards. But I've never heard or seen objections to using program bios before. Yes, the information initially comes from the subject, but it's formally published by the event organizer. BLP policy doesn't mention program blurbs, and I haven't been able to find any essays on the subject. You're absolutely welcome to add or remove as you see fit! Even if you take off some awards, she's still clearly notable. As long as Eva Lewis has an article, I'm satisfied. Thanks! MidwestCuttlefish (talk) 16:35, 24 April 2018 (UTC)[reply]
Hi there MidwestCuttlefish, yes it’s with an eye toward notability that I ask the question. I have sometimes seen AfD voters get distracted by student awards and end up ignoring sourcing that does meet GNG, on the grounds that student awards don’t go toward ANYBIO. I know, the logic doesn’t hold water (it’s quite clear no one needs to meet ANYBIO if they meet GNG) but it happens (...no comment). So I’m going to remove the scholarship, especially since we can note the full ride in the education section so that the info is still in the entry.
