Merger with Eusmilis
[edit]Due to a typo there is a duplicate article, Eusmilis. Since Eusmilus is the correct spelling the two should be merged under this name. Jerkov 21:48, 28 July 2006 (UTC)

Nimravinae?
[edit]The article says the genus belongs to the subfamily Nimravinae, whereas the wiki article on the family Nimravidae says it belongs to the subfamily Hoplophoninae. Which is correct? — Preceding unsigned comment added by Glevum (talk • contribs) 22:19, 18 November 2012 (UTC)
- It appears to have been corrected in the Eusmilus article 72.242.35.23 (talk) 07:40, 25 January 2015 (UTC)
Scientific name meaning?
[edit]The explanation to the meaning "eusmilus" listed in the article is "true saber", while the explanation here states that "eusmilus" means "early saber". Although there are other articles that also say "true saber". I just thought I'd bring it up, and since I'm no expert on scientific/taxonomic names, someone else more knowledgeable should look this over and decide which is correct for this article. 72.242.35.23 (talk) 07:35, 25 January 2015 (UTC)
