Most of the World's Euronesians are Maori
[edit]The article omits the largest population of Euronesians which are the Maori as well as New Zealand's large population with mixed Pacific Island and European ancestry. 2407:7000:8402:B200:2892:D9E2:C69E:8FE4 (talk) 15:42, 12 October 2020 (UTC)
Scientific definitions
[edit]As per reading of Serge Tcherkézoff , Polynésie-Mélanésie, l’invention française des races et des régions de l’Océanie, and also further reading of Bronwen Douglas, L’idée de race et l’expérience sur le terrain au XIXe siècle (TY - JOUR; AU - Douglas, Bronwen; PY - 2009/01/01; T1 - L'idée de « race » et l'expérience sur le terrain au XIXe siècle : science, action indigène et vacillations d'un naturaliste français en Océanie; VL - 21; DO - 10.3917/rhsh.021.0175; JO - Revue d'histoire des sciences humaines), there is no scientific evidence about the traditional Polynesia/Micronesia/Melanesia division of French Captain Dumont d'Urville. Mainly it is a racial and false distinction.--RotachZ (talk) 09:31, 15 June 2021 (UTC)
