[edit]Village Voice critic Robert Christgau was commonly using the term in the late 1970s, so it obviously existed before 1981.
Well we are not talking about term Euro Disco in 1970 which probably meant European Disco, this article is about new styles of electronic dance music, that emerged in 1981, not about Disco. Vorash 09:55, 23 July 2005 (UTC)
The UK is in Europe, can we stop referring to them as separate places? — Preceding unsigned comment added by 86.186.41.176 (talk) 19:04, 23 February 2012 (UTC)
Never quite got the 'Waterloo' = Euro disco connection. This song is surely more 'Glam Rock' than anything else? ABBA weirdly gets described as a 'disco band' way to much. They only made one album influenced by that genre. 'Dancing Queen' is a dancefloor filler but isn't technically 'disco' either. — Preceding unsigned comment added by Bovis Messroom (talk • contribs) 18:58, 28 December 2018 (UTC)
Euro Disco / Italo Pop Insanely Popular in Eastern Europe / Soviet Union
[edit]This article needs a lot of help - hardly any mention how Germany cranked out groups in the mid 80s that were wildly popular in Eastern European / Soviet Union — Preceding unsigned comment added by 24.10.43.243 (talk) 21:31, 27 October 2012 (UTC)

My editions
[edit]Hello good morning, I would like to express my deep sadness that my edits have been removed. I never vandalized anything to be called a vandal. My edits were all in good faith and all based on reliable sources. Well, after that I would like to state that I never intend to set foot on Wikipedia again, I never want to enter here again for anything in this world. Thank you very much to everyone who somewhat liked my edits. Thank you and have a good day. 2804:2424:8300:189D:655E:2682:4550:F767 (talk) 16:42, 30 June 2024 (UTC)
The description of Eurodisco in the article is wrong and other problems.
[edit]A long time ago in the Eurodisco article it was said that the term Eurodisco was a "generic term" for European forms of electronic music, which is definitely a big lie that was probably added by an Italo Disco fanatic to praise and magnify Italo Disco. Eurodisco is not that but a distinct musical genre popularized by Giorgio Moroder, Frank Farian and Jean-marc cerrone. 2804:2424:8300:189D:A4CF:8871:9268:CABF (talk) 17:57, 12 August 2024 (UTC)
