Image shuffle
[edit]I shuffled the images on the page to hopefully improve to article. I placed an image of a full fossil adult into the taxobox in accordance with the discussion at WP dinosaurs. The illustration was good so I moved it out to where the scale image was. The scale image, on the other hand, I removed. I have several times been confused by this image as using a juvenile as scale to a human is rather misleading. The question come up as to how old the juvenile is and why isn't it a full side on shot of the individual? If a new image is made with a 6 meter adult sideon then a scale image should be in the article.--Kevmin (talk) 07:42, 24 March 2009 (UTC)
Image addition
[edit]The ROM, which happens to be my local museum, has a nearly complete, well preserved fossil of this genus. A photo of this specimen could be a good addition to the article. — Preceding unsigned comment added by 24.36.148.242 (talk) 07:59, 28 August 2011 (UTC)
Missing References
[edit]For the following section references are missing: "It might have been used to search vegetation and crustaceans on the ocean bottom for prey by swinging its upper jaw from side to side against the sea floor like a sawfish, or to violently stab prey to death like swordfish, sailfish and marlins. A Miocene cetacean, Eurhinodelphis, also developed a similar structure." I think it is unlikely that Eurhinosarus would prey upon vegetation. Also crustacean were not found as stomach content. Usually coleoid hooklets are found. So please provide some references- i am interested in it.
