Was the genus really named after the Greek general Eumenes?
[edit]Isn't the genus name "Eumenes" to read literally ("the kindly one", like the euphemism used for the Erinyes) rather than to be referred to Eumenes of Cardia? I found no sources confirming that reference, while an important italian vocabulary said that the genus name comes "from scientific latin Eumenes, from greek εὐμενής, which means "the kindly one"".--Giovangotango (talk) 15:23, 24 August 2015 (UTC)
