[edit]Hi Freechild; this looks great. I'm just working my way through it, but wanted to say how clear it is that you have learned a lot with all your research. You've found some great quotes, too. Maybe it will help some people be more welcoming of new immigrants. I'm recommending you use the term Native American, because that's what they prefer over American Indian (that was my understanding of current usage). It gets confusing. Good chart - showing the different populations against the city totals makes it easier to keep perspective.--Parkwells (talk) 14:01, 17 May 2008 (UTC)
African American Renaissance
[edit]Was this a term used in Omaha or by historians for Omaha? I know about the Harlem Renaissance, but you must be writing about something different. While Omaha may have enjoyed a flourishing of culture because of the growing community, the Harlem Renaissance was not really a national movement, to my understanding.--Parkwells (talk) 21:50, 17 May 2008 (UTC)
