Birthdate

[edit]

Hi folks. My birthdate is January 4, 1973. Hard to document that with online cites, unfortunately - I'm not really finding that posted online anywhere. Suggestions on how to validate that fact? I know better than to edit my own page. Ethanz (talk) 18:00, 14 March 2015 (UTC)[reply]

Inaccuracies...

[edit]

With respect, I have attempted to correct several of the large inaccuracies in this article. This article appears to be based on a single webpage at the Berkmann Center, which seems to be Zuckerman's own autobiography. All else aside, this is simply not a neutral source by Wikipedia's standards.

The Berkmann page states that Zuckerman "helped found Tripod," not that he was a Tripod founder. Zuckerman was not to my knowledge a Founder of Tripod in the sense of someone who received a Founder's position; he arrived and was made an employee nearly two years after Tripod began, and, to correct the record, Josh Thayer (Williams '95) was Tripod's first tech employee/consultant.

I have altered the phrasing to reflect this.

Tripod's main businesses and aspirations were hardly "web hosting" and in a strict sense, Tripod home pages were not really "web hosting," which hardly existed at the time (outside corporations). I have also sought to correct this.

Both my corrections are a stab, and no doubt awkward; however, they are more accurate.

DUE WARNING: Ethan lived upstairs for me for three years at Williams (etc) and I lived with Tripod founders Bo Peabody and Brett Hershey for the summer of '94; the forgoing is based on personal knowledge and perspective. 64.221.243.154 (talk) 22:31, 3 June 2011 (UTC)[reply]

Zuckerman apologizes for Internet ads and pop-up ads specifically

Religious affiliation

[edit]

Hi friends. The phrase "He is a Jew" later changed to "He is Jewish" was added to my page. I do not identify as Jewish, nor do I identify with any particular faith. This fact is not cited, and therefore should not be included - I have removed it accordingly. If you wish to revert my edit so that I am not editing my own post, fair enough. But this is not correct, nor is it supported and it should be removed from the page. Ethanz (talk) 02:24, 20 January 2022 (UTC)[reply]
