These articles on individual cast members do not add anything significant to what is already in the main article for The Class. Propose deletion. Dbart 22:24, 17 January 2007 (UTC)[reply]

There's no proof that 'Ethan Haas' has anything to do with the J.J Abrams film as of yet.

I must disagree with this statement.
  • Cinematical[1] lists EHWR as viral marketing for the untitled J.J. Abrams movie, and suggests that Ethan Haas will be a main character in said movie.
  • Cinemablend[2] and RopeOfSilicon.com[3] similarly report a connection between the two.
  • Ain’t It Cool News[4], however, reports that there is no such connection, from an email from J.J. Abrams.
  • iF Magazine[5], IGN[6], Film.com[7], Chud.com[8], and New York Entertainment[9] have all reported on EHWR and Cloverfield together.
Technically, even that which categorically denies a subject is related to that subject. The above are adequete verification to include Ethan Haas related controversy in wikipedia in some form or another. Truth, and verification are not one in the same.
What I propose is this. Let's keep the EHWR mentions either to Hass's mention on The Class (with a mention that it the link has been confirmed (by those previously mentioned sources, if we are so inclined) but is also contested by other sources... OR limit it to the very brief and minimal mention (like before) on the disambiguity page. It deserves to be covered, because those journalists brought it up, and because people are going to flood wikipedia with it anyway. But I'll agree, it is not notable enough to deserve its own article, so at least if people see it's on the disambiguation page (or part of The Class), they might be less motivated to add more details on it.
