Two books
[edit]Why "Hebrew Bible"? Bible = "two books."
You would not write "Bhuddist Bible" for, say, the Tripitaka, would you? Leegee23 (talk) 09:35, 19 May 2009 (UTC)
- Actually, etymologically Bible = "books", not "two books". It comes from the Greek "byblos", meaning papyrus (i.e. "bi-" is not the prefix meaning two as in "bicycle"). Source: [1] Crust (talk) 19:57, 14 January 2010 (UTC)
