Erioperatsioonide Grupp (EOG) and Erioperatsioonide väejuhatus (Estonian Special Operations Force; ESTSOF) aren't synonyms. Former is the special forces unit itself and the latter is its command unit. - Neptuunium (talk) 16:34, 11 November 2017 (UTC)[reply]

You are correct. EOG was erroneously referenced before I expanded it further. The correct translations are as follows:

Estonian Special Operations Force (ESTSOF) - Erioperatsioonide väejuhatus
Special Operations Task Group (SOTG) - Erioperatsioonide grupp (EOG)

I do not agree with one of the changes to ESTSOF tasks. Kaitseväe Aastaraamat 2012 states that:

...kaitseväe juhataja otsealluvuses on kaitseväe erioperatsioonide üksus (KV EOÜ), mille ülesanne on erioperatsioonide planeerimine, ettevalmistamine ja läbiviimine oma pädevuse piires...
