Club Jumpers

That club jumpers section is very biased. Those clubs all have to wear alternative jumpers for their clashes with Essendon, even if it's not the Bombers' home game. Why should they have to and Essendon be an exception?

On the contrary, looks to be a simple statement of fact to me. At no point is it argued that either point of view is correct. Emcee N 02:38, 7 June 2006 (UTC)

Well quite fairly and simply...

The essendon football club has worn a black guernsey with red sash as its uniform since 1873 (the longest period that any sporting club in the WORLD has worn the same primary guernsey design).

Given the enormity of the guernsey being worn for the longest period of any sporting club in the world. I would say that the essendon guernsey deservedly should be protected from alteration for all time. In fact I beleive the famous essendon guernsey should be protected under international law, by being heritage listed!

The current argument by the essendon football club and philosophy has been to hold true to the sacred guernsy to remain intact and unaltered. It has ever so rightly and passionately defended every single one of those 133 years of loyalty and sacredness.

Those that argue the essendon football club should be exposed to the same away guernsey changes, are clearly ignorant of the monumental significance and importance of the essendon football club's pride and honour regarding its herritage, tradition and values regarding the guernsey.

The world record for the "guernsey loyalty period" - 133 years! Is enough on its own to warrant justification for keeping the same original passionate colours unaltered for the rest of history, in a display of pride, dignity and traditional values.

Top 25 Players

There are currently 26 players listed in the Top 25 PLayers list... anybody know which one shouldn't be there? Wwwhhh 03:12, 3 July 2006 (UTC)

I have fixed it and other "vandalisms". Ash73 01:49, 6 July 2006 (UTC)

Why the aboriginal flags? Obviously Essendon has had many indigenous players over the years, as well as from other backgrounds, but these are not mentioned in the article. Perhaps they should be removed or a mention of Essendon's strong aboriginal links added to the article? --RhysMac 18:21, 29 October 2006 (UTC)
