As indicated in the article history, I created this English page by plugging the German page into Google Translate and then modifying for grammer and occasionally phrasing. The only independant verification I made so far was regarding the years he was nominated for the [[Nobel Peace Prize].
One good thing about this article in the German Wikipedia was that the references used were English works, so I included them in a references section, again without reviewing them myself. The one thing I did not port over was who succeeded between Nys and Alphonse Rivier the international law professorship in Brussels and who became dean. I think Nys took over from Revier, but the translation is too unclear for me to be sure enough to put that in. Hoping somebody with some aaditional sources will stop by soon. Added info about taking over the professorship from Rivier, who died that year, both per the German article write and Rivier's death year listed in his article in the German Wikipedia. IMHO (talk) 19:16, 21 May 2012 (UTC)[reply]
