[edit]Not certain, but would it be appropriate to mention that the reason for the assumed name was that he was avoiding issues that may be caused by name sounding German PerkinsC (talk) 15:35, 15 July 2013 (UTC)

- @PerkinsC as I said, thanks. however, Janson seems lesser German sounding than the clearly German Hoffman, this seems an unlikely explanation. PainMan (talk) 16:40, 30 October 2022 (UTC)
