April 2023 Lifetime Movie Network, If I Can't Have You. Eric Roberts, Michael Paré — Preceding unsigned comment added by 2601:586:401:76F0:DC59:F12B:9C44:160C (talk) 01:16, 1 May 2023 (UTC)
"Most prolific" or not?
[edit]As prolific as Roberts is, it cannot be claimed that he is the most prolific Actor in American/TV History. That title goes to Mel Blanc. https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Mel_Blanc http://www.imdb.com/name/nm0000305/ — Preceding unsigned comment added by 63.140.111.250 (talk) 21:50, 26 October 2015 (UTC)
Current version violates WP:FILMOGRAPHY
[edit]Just posting to the Talk page to record that the current version of Roberts' Filmography table actually violates WP:FILMOGRAPHY – to wit: "Use of rowspan formatting in "Year" columns (ex. #2) is acceptable, but rowspan formatting should not be used in other columns..." (emphasis mine)
The current versions of the tables have extensive use of rowspan in the 'Notes' column, which violates what I just quoted from WP:FILMOGRAPHY.
Also, for someone as prolific as Roberts, "short films" should definitely not be included in his Filmography table, as per WP:UNDUE and WP:INDISCRIMINATE, unless it is shown that a particular short film is actually a "notable role" (e.g. Roberts won an acting award for it as per Reliable sources). --IJBall (contribs • talk) 04:23, 21 August 2022 (UTC)
