Time to move the article back

There have not been any reliable sources to support the change in the subject's name from Eric to Éric and WP:COMMONNAME indicates that the subject should be the most common use of his name: Eric. --Walter Görlitz (talk) 02:56, 5 November 2012 (UTC)[reply]

French sources are WP:RS reliable for spelling of French names. Sources like http://www.lessentiel.lu/fr/sports/story/19181533 indicate that this French Éric is spelled the same as every other French Éric. And WP:FRMOS states that "French proper names and expressions should respect the use of accents and ligatures in French." - of course that MOS guideline primarily refers to WP:FULLNAME rather than title, but is applied to titles too.
