The request to rename this article to Eric Dupont (producer) has been carried out.

Eric Dupont → Eric Dupont (producer) – Does not have a strong claim to WP:PRIMARYTOPIC over Éric Dupont (writer); the main reason he has the undisambiguated title is that nobody bothered to tackle an article about the writer until I buckled down today because of his Giller Prize nomination. Since the writer is not widely known outside of Canada, however, I'm proposing a WP:TWODABS solution here rather than moving the writer to the undabbed title — but a film producer whose sole notability claim is an Oscar nomination in the short film category is not prominent or famous enough to outprimary the writer either. Also, there's a fairly high degree of confusion out on the wild wild web between the spellings "Dupont" and "Dupond" — even Google autocomplete revealed that one of the writer's novels is much more commonly searched for with the "Dupond" spelling than the correct one — so the dab page should probably also list Éric Dupond-Moretti. (Both "Dupont" and "Dupond" are pronounced identically, for the record, so the names are very easily confused if you don't already have preexisting knowledge of which spelling is correct for any given person — which is precisely why the Tintin characters Thomson and Thompson were named Dupont and Dupond in the original French. Support per nomination, especially since Éric Dupont is still a redlink, thus highlighting the counterintuitive nature of having to impose a qualifier upon Éric Dupont (writer), but leaving Eric Dupont, the producer, as the putative WP:PRIMARYTOPIC.
