DVDs

[edit]

Last night I watched the "Epitaph One" DVD commentary which provides a lot of useful information to improve this article with. Behold, there will be edits to come.~ZytheTalk to me! 10:45, 8 September 2009 (UTC)[reply]

Flashforwards

[edit]

I believe it should be flashbacks, not flashforwards. Although these are flashforwards to future events in the timeline of the show, from the perspective of the episode itself they are flashbacks. As this article is about the episode, not the whole show, it should be written for the scope of the episode only. Therefore, flashbacks is more accurate and more appropriate.124.182.189.117 (talk) 11:19, 19 September 2009 (UTC)[reply]

References

[edit]

I have removed the references improve tag added last yr in July. The article has been updated and has significantly more sources than it did when it first went up.Meowies (talk) 07:19, 9 January 2010 (UTC)[reply]

Airing in the US

[edit]

I've seen lots of different sources saying that Epitaph One was not aired in the United States. This is not true. I had my DirecTV DVR set to record Dollhouse and it recorded Epitaph One on Fox (my local affiliate being WSJV out of South Bend & Elkhart, IN), I believe before the airing of the second season. However, I'm not sure of the exact date as I have since deleted the episode. If anyone else has more information or specifics, it would be nice to get this cleared up.

Detail in plot summary

[edit]

Can we please remove the "This article's plot summary may be too long or excessively detailed" box at the top of the article? Having just watched the episode and immediately read the summary, it is not over-long at all: it's exactly as long as it needs to be in order adequately summarise and explain an unusually dense and complex episode. (I'd have removed the box myself if I knew how.) MirkMeister (talk) 21:29, 3 April 2011 (UTC)[reply]

I once tried to remove it some 5 months after someone put up the tag. It was instantly reverted and rather get into some edit war or discuss it with someone who clearly was more of a maintenance person I left it alone. If there is a consensus by those who have watched the show and know the complexities of the episode it really should have been removed a long time ago. My edit in question is here. http://en.wikipedia.org/w/index.php?title=Epitaph_One&oldid=333057809 Meowies (talk) 05:36, 5 April 2011 (UTC)[reply]
Well, can you just try it again? Maybe by this time the Plot Nazi will have moved on to some other area. MirkMeister (talk) 23:16, 5 April 2011 (UTC)[reply]
OK, no problem, I found it -- it was the <<plot|date=July 2009>> magic tag right at the top of the article. I've removed it. If anyone wants to put it back, please explain why rather than just blindly reverting. MirkMeister (talk) 23:21, 5 April 2011 (UTC)[reply]
