- The article only includes information on epimorphosis in salamanders--research needs to be done to see if it occurs in other amphibians or even non-amphibians.
- The sources need to be verified and supplemented with additional reputable sources.
- The article could use some editing for clarity and layman understandability.
- The article needs its cross-linking strengthened; information on AECs needs to be compiled and a page created for that, as well as references to connections with morphallaxis.
