Epic Review Time

[edit]

Hater what you know about Good Article criteria!

Is it reasonably well written?

A. Prose quality: Clear and readable
B. MoS compliance for lead, layout, words to watch, fiction, and lists: Yes

Is it factually accurate and verifiable?

A. References to sources: Yes
B. Citation of reliable sources where necessary: Yes, but this link is dead, as well as the "Epic Deals" link.
C. No original research: As far as I can tell, there isn't any.

Is it broad in its coverage?

A. Major aspects: I'm comparing this to other TV show GAs, which are more comprehensive but on the other hand are frankly more significant. For what has been said and done about this show, this article covers the bases.
B. Focused: Yes, goes into sufficient detail.

Is it neutral?

Fair representation without bias: Yes

Is it stable?

No edit wars, etc: Vandalism seems to be reverted pretty swiftly, but watch out. This article is the kind of thing people would love to screw around with, whether to lambaste them for their latest episode (in which they did not cook at all!) or to just say "HATER WHILE YOU WERE PAYING ATTENTION IN CLASS I WAS EDITING WIKIPEDIA." Make sure nothing bad stays in the article for too long and semi-protect the article if necessary. As for edit wars, decide whether it's "MusclesGlasses" or "Muscles Glasses" in case that crops up again.

Does it contain images to illustrate the topic?

A. Images are copyright tagged, and non-free images have fair use rationales: Yes
B. Images are provided where possible and appropriate, with suitable captions: Yes

Overall: Pass or Fail: Please address the issues I have raised.

I have fixed the two dead links. As for the vandalism, I have the page on my watchlist, as do other people (perhaps Yankees76?). Like you said, vandalism that isn't picked up by Hugglers is caught pretty swiftly. I don't think semi-protection is necessary, purely because the volume of vandalism is pretty low. As for the Muscles Glasses issue, the IP, Yankees76, and I seem to have agreed to follow what is in the sources: "Muscles Glasses" with a space. Thank you. On second thought, I've semi-protected. The amount of vandalism seems to be increasing, so I think this will be helpful in the long run. GorillaWarfare (talk) 19:43, 3 July 2011 (UTC)[reply]
