Lots of problems
[edit]There's a lot of subtle non-neutrality throughout. For example, right in the intro, it states "to address the unfair exposure", and in the next sentence, it states "this pattern of inequitable exposure". Conflating these terms implies that inequitable exposure is unfair, when it might not be.
Since this is a classic propaganda technique, we should avoid it here lest the entry be dismissed as such. 2601:145:502:2EE0:F45B:F136:2871:3A91 (talk) 13:39, 28 September 2022 (UTC)
- Yes the language should be more hedged and neutral. One challenge throughout the history of activism on this topic is that assertions are made that lack significant empirical support, or where conclusions are strongly contested. The spectrum of persons self-selecting to create and maintain an entry line this may not be fully representative of the array of legitimate views on this topic. Adding "water" section under "environmental discrimination and conflict" portion
[edit]Under the section “environmental discrimination and conflict” I am going to add a portion on Water. The topics underneath that section currently of hazardous waste, land appropriation, etc. frame this issue nicely but I think that water is also very relevant here and the way it has played a role in the environmental justice discourse.
